I think everyone who listens to music does it for inspiration. Are you saying that Mr Van der Ven only listens to Arvo Pärt? If so, that's wierd.

No I wasn't exactly saying that, it can be anything, The Rolling Stones has helped create many a masterpiece hanging from a council chamber in Holland by Meneer v.d.Ven, but like all artists he can be a bit weird at times. I got totally ragged with him once at his home in Epse after he'd cooked the most wonderful meal for the four of us. Him speaking partial English and me speaking partial Dutch was an entertaning evening to say the least especially after a sharing a box of French wine.
cheers (or proost as we said many times that evening).

A friend of our, Henk van der Ven who lives in Deventer, Holland, is an artist and he listens to Arvo Part ot George Seite to give him inspiration.
They also play "piped" Arvo Part in the trees at the Yorkshire Sculpture park, it's a really peaceful spot and the music accompanies the tranquil setting.
