My 'famous' cousin
@ 2009-05-16 – 12:21:59
My cousin Roddy was in a punk band in the 70's called Blast Furnace and the Heatwaves. His stage name was Skid Marx and he played Harp and posed a lot. On the cover of the single he is first left.
Anybody else got a famous relative?

Prizes will be awarded to the person who can name the most influences evident in this song and video. Bearing in mind this is a modern, right now, up to date, kids dancing to it band

Great stuff from funkadelic. cant say i like funk music much, but the guitarists in funkadelic were completely mind blowing and frankly that hat is the best piece of stage wear ive ever seen.

Little Wing

i do so love little wing.
here are two (very very) different versions on it. personally i love both, but i will always have a place in my heart for the saxophonist from the shibusashirazu orchestra.
in a hyphenated word. barn-storming.

The Concept

overrated album and band in my view. cant argue with that though. simply spellbinding indie music. always saddens me to think people might turn it off after a couple of minutes and miss one of the most heartbraking and beautiful pieces of guitar ever (of course thats only my opinion!)
