i think the youtube description sums it up quite well
'completely ridiculous and outstanding face melting guitar'
i quite agree. its a great album track but live it just seems to take on another dimension.
enjoy!

i know gilmour raises a lot of eyebrows when people talk about him. maybe he isnt the best guitarist of all time. but the man is a genius! this is just wonderful (the whole of live in gdansk is) and he deserves respect for it.

i think its generally accepted that neutral milk hotel produced one of the best albums of the nineties (well if you believe musical lists anyway).
personally, i love jeff mangums style. hes a bit unhinged and doesnt always hit the notes, but where else can you get songs about siamese twins freezing to death in the woods, a man pushing his fingers into someones backbone in order to turn them into a human puppet and a two headed boy who may well be able to play piano (we never find out). oh did i mention the album is a concept album based on the life of anne frank?
enjoy.

It's a game by String Driven Thing. Loved this track back in my teens and it still sounds good today.
And of course there was a cover version....

A concert in 1999 in São Paulo, Rubén González on piano. He'd come out of retirement in 1996 for a solo album and then got together with Ry Cooder to play with the Buena Vista Social Club.

Jah Wobble. Genius.
"Nah, you'll never see the rainforest anyway"
If possible, listen loudly.
Cheers, Tom.
