I first heard this remix on NYE 2006 at about 7 in the morning. It changed a lot of how I listened to music. Epic tune, just beautiful. Of course I was tripping of my tits, but that doesn't belittle the experience.

Glad you like it. In my opinion Hot Chip are one of the best bands around, and I don't usually go for what passes as 'indie' nowadays. But Hot Chip are different, lyrically and musically. Erol Alkan meanwhile always remixes to make a killer tune.
