    Seven seas of Rhye

    Queen are an English rock band formed in 1972 in London by guitarist Brian May, lead vocalist Freddie Mercury, and drummer Roger Taylor, with bassist John Deacon joining the following year. Queen rose to prominence during the 1970s and are Britain's most successful band of the past three decades

  • Night At The Opera and Sheer Heart Attack are among my 'favourite albums of all time'. Queen did some brilliant stuff! Nice one!

    • Sheer Heart Attack is my most favourite Queen album as it was pure unadulterated rock. I saw them in 76 at the Hammersmith Odeon (now the Apollo) for the Night at the Opera Tour and they were awesome.

      • *tingles up the arms* oooh, jealouuuus! Would have been interesting to see 'The Prophet Song' performed live. Yeah, some excellent stuff, lucky you!
